"International Affairs: Politics, Economics, Law" is a research journal focused on interdisciplinary scientific and theoretical papers. It is published by the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, affiliated with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan. This journal was registered by the Press and Information Agency of Uzbekistan on January 11, 2007 (license № 0127). It is also registered in the National Book Chamber of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The printed version has an ISSN of 2010-6203, and the online version has an ISSN of 2181-1113, which are available in relevant international, peer-reviewed journals.
This journal is published in Uzbek, Russian, and English. The editorial board accepts research papers for review that analyse international relations and world politics, international law, the global economy, international economic ties, and the present social and humanitarian concerns facing contemporary Uzbekistan. The publishers reserve the right to publish essays and other scientific materials. Research articles on theoretical, methodological, or topical reviews, research theses, and other topics are welcome for additional publication in the journal. Publication of articles in this journal is free of charge.

Authorship criteria and responsibility
The author of a study must:
Make a substantial contribution to the conception or design of the study, to the analysis or interpretation of data, or to the creation of new software used in the work.
Draft the manuscript text or critically revise it in terms of the relevance and substance of the material. Approve the final version of the manuscript submitted for publication.
Take responsibility for all aspects of the work and ensure the appropriate investigation and resolution of issues that affect the study's accuracy or integrity.
Role of the corresponding author
The corresponding author acts on behalf of all co-authors and is responsible for:
Ensuring that all authors have approved the manuscript and the order of authorship.
Managing all correspondence between the journal and all co-authors before and after publication. Including in the manuscript all necessary disclosures, declarations, and statements on data transparency from all authors.
Author contribution statement
Authors should include in the manuscript a responsibility statement specifying the contribution of each author.

It is not permitted to list several sources under a single reference number.

Peer review and Ethics
The journal adheres to strict principles of peer-review integrity and maintains high standards throughout the evaluation process. After an initial editorial screening for relevance and quality, submissions undergo a double-blind review by independent and qualified experts. Authors are expected to remove any identifying details from their manuscripts prior to submission. By submitting a manuscript, authors confirm that the work is original, has not been published previously, is not under consideration elsewhere, has been approved by all co-authors, and complies with the journal’s ethical standards in publishing.
Double review process
The journal follows a double-blind peer-review process, ensuring that both authors and reviewers remain anonymous throughout the evaluation. This approach guarantees an objective, unbiased, and high-quality assessment of all submitted manuscripts in accordance with international academic standards.
The final decision is made by the Editor-in-Chief.
Plagiarism
The originality and uniqueness of the article must not contain any hint of unethical borrowing from other sources.
Plagiarism in any form is unacceptable.
AI ethics
AI cannot be listed as an author; only the authors themselves are responsible for the content. Use of AI beyond language editing is briefly described in the "Methods" section.
"AI-assisted language editing" (improving grammar, style, readability, and formatting of text written by the authors) is permitted without mandatory disclosure, provided no new substantive content is created, and the authors' ideas are not distorted.
Generative AI images are not accepted; exceptions are to be agreed with the editorial office and indicated in captions.
Citation ethics
Excessive self-citation is unacceptable.
Citation cartels and reciprocal citation agreements are regarded as citation manipulation and are excluded.
Before submission, please ensure that:
All co-authors have read and approved the final version of the manuscript.
All required sections are completed in accordance with the language of the article.
ORCID IDs are active and correctly linked.
All necessary disclosures and declarations have been provided.
References are formatted in accordance with APA Style.
