Rules and Requirements for Submitting Scientific Articles
"International Affairs" is a peer-reviewed academic journal published under the auspices of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy (UWED). The journal provides rigorous academic expertise and publishes interdisciplinary scientific research across international relations, global economics, and international law. We welcome submissions from established scholars, doctoral students, and master’s degree candidates.
- Scope and Thematic Areas:
The editorial board accepts articles related to the analysis of international relations and world politics in the modern world, including key topics such as the foreign policy of Uzbekistan 2026, geopolitics of Central Asia analysis, international legal regulation of various spheres of society and the state, the development of the world economy, international economic relations, and current issues in the social and humanitarian spheres of modern Uzbekistan and the international community.
The editors reserve the right to publish articles in other fields of science as well. The journal may accept theoretical, methodological, and thematic reviews of analytical articles, scientific research, and scientific reviews of publications.
- Submission Procedure and Formatting Requirements:
Authors must submit their manuscript exclusively via email or through the official website of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy (UWED).
- Text Volume: The volume should be between 2,000 and 3,000 words (including the bibliography).
- File Format: Manuscripts must be prepared in RTF format.
- Typography & Layout: Times New Roman font, size 14 pt, 1.5 line spacing, with standard margins.
- Citations and References: The formatting of footnotes and the bibliography must comply with the general rules of the state standard. Duplication of titles is not allowed, nor is the listing of multiple sources or literature under a single number.
- Supplementary Materials (Submitted in a Single Separate File):
- Abstract: A brief abstract (2–5 short sentences) in Uzbek, Russian, and English, with mandatory inclusion of the article title and author's full name.
- Keywords: Keywords and key phrases (3–6 terms) in Uzbek, Russian, and English.
- Author Information: Full Name, position, place of work or study, and official email address. The author is solely responsible for the accuracy of the provided information.
- Peer Review and Academic Evaluation:
Articles are evaluated by members of the editorial board and independent specialists in the field corresponding to the content of the article. The final decision on publication is made by the Editor-in-Chief.
- Author's Rights:
The author has the right to review the completed peer review.
- Responsibility:
The author is responsible for the correct formatting, accuracy of facts, and compliance of the submitted article.
- Publication Fee:
No publication fee is charged for publishing articles in the journal.
