Digital Transformation Experience of the Educational Process at UWED

Abstract:

This article analyzes the experience of digital transformation within the educational process at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy (UWED) through the deployment of an integrated academic management system. This evolution aligns directly with ongoing education reforms in Uzbekistan, aimed at modernizing higher education standards. The study details the transition from fragmented software tools to a unified Smart University ecosystem that merges course scheduling, attendance tracking, analytical monitoring, and career assistance.

Furthermore, the integration of these tools highlights how the digital economy in international relations shapes contemporary academic frameworks. The findings demonstrate that data-driven governance, system interoperability, and personalization enhance administrative efficiency, transparency, and the link between higher education and the labor market. Supported by interdisciplinary scientific research, UWED's institutional experience is showcased as a scalable framework aligned with national digitalization benchmarks and global best practices in university administration.
